Foodhub Restaurant Landing page: Defining the Process to achieving it

This is my First Design with Wejapa Product design and truly I was given the task of designing a Restaurant landing page for a friends business.

To my knowledge, I don’t have any idea on designing a landing page for a restaurant so I had to look out or do research for inspirations via Dribbble,behance and also with Pinterest.

During my research, I discovered what and how a landing page entails then I had to progress to design a framework or a wireframe of how my design will eventually unfold.

The derivation of the Name

The Nomenclature for the restauran t tagged “Foodhub” is an avenue or a platform where an individual can walk in and order food at their convenience.

The Choice Font used

The Font used for my design is “Poppins” and the reason behind the font is due to its clarity and simplicity in its typography.

The Usage of Image

Due to the Instruction initiated for designing a Landing page, The use of vectors illustrations or image was prohibited but High resolution Food imagery was used for my design instead to convey the information to users.

The Color palette

The Color used for my design is Light blue and green with color code:5A76BC and 7BBABD.My preference for the colors used here is to showcase the expression of the users when using the product.

The Icons used

The Icons used here was the Social media icons ranging from Facebook, Instagram,Twitter and Linkedin where a user can easily navigate to the page to learn more of Foodhub restaurant.

The Final Design Makeup

The Landing page was then revealed with the use of the necessary input rendered above.

I am glad I have been able to undergo my first design project at Wejapa.
